On 20 April 2011, members of the Spanish National Police dismantled a cocaine lab in Goarriz, Spain, and detained six members of a drug trafficking operation with links to Bolivia. The investigation was started in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, where the Fuerza Especial de Lucha Contra el Narcotráfico (FELCN), Bolivia’s drug enforcement unit, captured a shipment of cocaine destined for Spain.
