Mexico - Numerous members of Los Zetas arrested throughout Mexico

On 15 April 2011, the Attorney General of the state of Campeche, Mexico announced the arrests of the leader of Los Zetas in Campeche, Jorge Hernández Ramírez, alias "El Diego,” along with ten other individuals. State authorities in Hidalgo also announced the capture of 32 members of Los Zetas in the cities of Tula and Tulancingo between 16 April and 17 April 2011. Mexican Secretary of Defense Guillermo Galván Galván stated that Los Zetas is the cartel with the greatest presence in the country and presents the "greatest threat to internal security."
